After a quiet period over the summer the ever popular MIM Breakfast Meetings return this Friday (November 20th) commencing at 8.00am in the Town Hall Assembly Room with breakfast rolls, tea and coffee available from 7.30.
“It’s been a busy summer on the Macclesfield scene.”said MIM Vice Chairman Mike Rance. “Following the decision not to progress the controversial Wilson Boden scheme a broadly-based Stakeholder Panel has been considering the future of the town and we’re now poised to find out what might in store for us on both Duke Street and Churchill Way. At the same time the New Town Council is in place and is busy finding its feet.
“In the context of all this change MIM has taken some time over the summer to consider how best it might contribute to the development of the town.
“The Breakfast Meeting on the 20th offers an opportunity to hear an update from the Stakeholder Panel as well as a chance to learn first hand about the progress the Town Council is making. There’ll also be a presentation about an exciting new Macclesfield-focussed initiative from MIM with concluding remarks from David Rutley.”
