Having just seen The Iron Lady at Cinemac I have to say that the sound is excellent, much louder than before and really clear. At times I felt we were in the film thanks to the surround sound speakers! The whole Cinemac experience is wonderful and in my opinion there is no need to leave the town if the film you want to watch is on. Keep up the good work Cinemac!
Absolutely brilliant, I love this cinema and the new sound and image quality is a massive improvement. We are now much more likely to attend this instead of nearby mutiplexes.
I do wonder why the various plans for the town have a ghastly cinema warehouse in them when we hve something as fine and characterful as Cinemac. It is the right size for the town and the cathcment area and is a pleasure to visit. Compare it to the bleak wasteland of Parrs Wood or the Stockport cinema area
I agree with everything everyone has said so far, especially Macc Spider: we don't need a soul-less new cinema when we have this gem, now with fantastic sound and picture-quality. I don't know how long this cinema has existed in Macclesfield; I found out about it only a year ago through a small flyer advertising a film. I don't get the Macc Express though. I wonder if there aren't perhaps many more people in Macclesfield who would use it, if they knew of its existence.
I went yesterday and thought it was great! The sound and atmosphere is so much better than any multiplex - I'm a film production graduate and would choose to watch a film here anyday! It was a full house and everyone applauded the film (first time I've ever witnessed). I'm 100% going back.
