Best Practice in British High Streets

LEPIn the digital age, people are shopping in different ways, which is changing the face of the British High Street. Up and down the country high streets continue to evolve as they look to become vibrant centres offering retail, leisure and community facilities.
The benefits of retailers working together, from independents through to big chain companies, is even more important, helping to create vibrant and thriving town centres.

Cheshire and Warrington Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP), in partnership with Marketing Cheshire, is hosting an evening to give all partners involved in developing Cheshire’s high streets the opportunity to hear from speakers that have been working in these areas for many years including:

Johnny Hayes, MBE, an independent retailer who inspired a local team to win the Great British High Street Competition in 2015
Martin Blackwell, former Town Centre Manager and Chief Executive of the Association of Town and City Management
Andy Godfrey, Public Policy Manager, Alliance Boots and Chair of the Heart of London, Business Improvement District (BID)

You’ll also have the opportunity to ask questions, and network over refreshments and we hope that at the end of the evening you’ll leave with a clear plan of how we can work together to grow our high streets.
